Same sex Civil Weddings, partnerships or gay weddings have been legal in Spain for a few years in certain areas of the country, although the law in each area can vary, so check with the local town hall as to their current requirements. With at least one of the couple to have been resident here in Spain for at least 2 years.

 Many clients opt for the wedding blessing which can take place in hotels, castles, beaches and even private chapels. The service is the same as a church wedding but is not legally binding so you would have to do the legal side back home.
